Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM60 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM60 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TMEM60 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM60 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC and CESC are the cancer types where TMEM60 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
