Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM54 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM54 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher TMEM54 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM54 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
DLBC, KIRC, and SKCM are the cancer types where TMEM54 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
