Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM47 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM47 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher TMEM47 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM47 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
DLBC, ESCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where TMEM47 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
