Across TCGA cell cohorts, TMEM43 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 5,736 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMEM43-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Skeletal muscle fiber development, Regulation of cell-matrix adhesion, and Regulation of focal adhesion assembly. Each is linked with TMEM43 in more than 14 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM43-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM43 results are reported.
