The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher TMEM42 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM42 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD and LIHC are the cancer types where TMEM42 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
