Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM41A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM41A data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher TMEM41A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM41A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA and HNSC are the cancer types where TMEM41A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
