Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMEM39A mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,866 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMEM39A-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR4307, EIF3JP1, and FARSBP1. Each is linked with TMEM39A in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM39A-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM39A results are reported.
