Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM30CP RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of TMEM30CP’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where TMEM30CP RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types TMEM30CP is over-expressed in tumor.
COAD, UCEC, and PRAD are the cancer types where TMEM30CP tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
