Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMEM251 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 380 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMEM251-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-1213P, ZNHIT3, and TAF9. Each is linked with TMEM251 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM251-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM251 results are reported.
