Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM25 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TMEM25 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher TMEM25 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM25 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and KIRC show a favorable association.
KIRP, KIRC, and UVM are the cancer types where TMEM25 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
