Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM25 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM25 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher TMEM25 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM25 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
GBM, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where TMEM25 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
