Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM233 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM233 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher TMEM233 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM233 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA, COAD, and SARC are the cancer types where TMEM233 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
