Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM231 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM231 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher TMEM231 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM231 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM show a favorable association.

UCEC, LUAD, and GBM are the cancer types where TMEM231 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
