Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMEM230 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 72 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMEM230-associated genes across cancer lineages are RPL7AP69, MIR8082, and AIMP1P1. Each is linked with TMEM230 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM230-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM230 results are reported.
