Across TCGA cell cohorts, TMEM229B RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,409 significant associations in total. SKIN shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible TMEM229B-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of tolerance induction dependent upon immune response, Antigen processing and presentation of exogenous peptide antigen via MHC class Ib, and T cell differentiation in thymus. Each is linked with TMEM229B in more than 11 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM229B-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM229B results are reported.
