Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM212 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM212 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher TMEM212 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM212 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA are the cancer types where TMEM212 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
