Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM200C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM200C data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TMEM200C Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM200C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.
KIRC, BRCA, and LIHC are the cancer types where TMEM200C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
