Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM200B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM200B data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher TMEM200B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM200B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA are the cancer types where TMEM200B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
