Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM198 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM198 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher TMEM198 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM198 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC, COAD, and STAD are the cancer types where TMEM198 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
