The most reproducible TMEM196-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of syncytium formation by plasma membrane fusion, Ganglion development, and Negative regulation of oxidative stress-induced intrinsic apoptotic signaling pathway. Each is linked with TMEM196 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM196-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM196 results are reported.
