Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMEM177 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 363 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMEM177-associated genes across cancer lineages are MBD3L3, LINC02222, and MIR5787. Each is linked with TMEM177 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM177-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM177 results are reported.
