Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM169 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM169 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher TMEM169 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM169 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SARC, PRAD, and ESCA are the cancer types where TMEM169 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
