Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM167A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM167A data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher TMEM167A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM167A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC are the cancer types where TMEM167A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
