Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM165 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM165 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TMEM165 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM165 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, LIHC, and PRAD are the cancer types where TMEM165 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
