The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher TMEM161B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM161B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KICH, UCEC, and HNSC are the cancer types where TMEM161B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
