The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TMEM161B mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM161B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and GBM show a favorable association.
