Across TCGA cell cohorts, TMEM126A RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 2,615 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMEM126A-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Mitochondrial protein quality control, Optic nerve development, and Negative regulation of focal adhesion disassembly. Each is linked with TMEM126A in more than 17 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM126A-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM126A results are reported.
