Across TCGA cell cohorts, TMEM121 RNA expression is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,907 significant associations in total. SOFT_TISSUE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMEM121-associated genes across cancer lineages are SHANK3, C1QL4, and GPSM1. Each is linked with TMEM121 in more than 14 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM121-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM121 results are reported.
