The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TMEM116 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM116 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, KIRP, and STAD are the cancer types where TMEM116 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
