Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM106C RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TMEM106C data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher TMEM106C RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM106C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and STAD show a favorable association.

ACC, MESO, and LIHC are the cancer types where TMEM106C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
