Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM105 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM105 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher TMEM105 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM105 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LGG, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where TMEM105 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
