Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM102 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM102 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher TMEM102 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM102 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SCLC, CESC, and SKCM are the cancer types where TMEM102 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
