Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM100 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM100 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher TMEM100 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM100 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC are the cancer types where TMEM100 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
