Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEFF2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEFF2 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher TMEFF2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEFF2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, HNSC, and LGG are the cancer types where TMEFF2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
