Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMED9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMED9 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher TMED9 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMED9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where TMED9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
