Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMED3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMED3 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TMED3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMED3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, CCRCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where TMED3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
