Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMED2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMED2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher TMED2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMED2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, SARC, and CESC are the cancer types where TMED2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
