Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMED2-DT RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TMED2-DT data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TMED2-DT RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMED2-DT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and UCS show a favorable association.

KIRC, ACC, and COAD are the cancer types where TMED2-DT RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
