TMC8

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMC8 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,301 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMC8-associated genes across cancer lineages are MEFV, EBI3, and DENND3. Each is linked with TMC8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMC8-to-partner and partner-to-TMC8 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, TMC8 versus MEFV in LSCC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.52.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (TMC8→partner) and Y-score (partner→TMC8) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
