TMC8

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, TMC8 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 198 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMC8-associated genes across cancer lineages are IFNA5, KRTAP17-1, and MSGN1. Each is linked with TMC8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMC8-to-partner and partner-to-TMC8 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, IFNA5 grouped by TMC8-low versus TMC8-high in SOFT_TISSUE.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (TMC8→partner) and Y-score (partner→TMC8) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
