Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMC7 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMC7 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher TMC7 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMC7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where TMC7 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
