Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMC6 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMC6 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TMC6 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMC6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

LUAD, LSCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where TMC6 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
