Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMC6 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 7,726 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMC6-associated genes across cancer lineages are CSF3R, FPR2, and FOLR2. Each is linked with TMC6 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMC6-to-partner and partner-to-TMC6 results are reported.
