TMC5

RNA expression — cross-omics
Cross-omicsRNA → FUNCTION-RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, TMC5 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,969 significant associations in total. STOMACH shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMC5-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of blood-brain barrier permeability, Negative regulation of myeloid leukocyte mediated immunity, and Negative regulation of chemokine production. Each is linked with TMC5 in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMC5-to-partner and partner-to-TMC5 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, Regulation of blood-brain barrier permeability grouped by TMC5-low versus TMC5-high in PANCREAS.

RNA expression associated GO terms by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (TMC5→partner) and Y-score (partner→TMC5) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
