Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMBIM6 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMBIM6 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TMBIM6 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMBIM6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LSCC show a favorable association.

LUAD, PDAC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where TMBIM6 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
