Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMA16 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMA16 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher TMA16 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMA16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, SCLC, and LIHC are the cancer types where TMA16 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
