Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TM9SF3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TM9SF3 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher TM9SF3 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TM9SF3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, BLCA, and ESCA are the cancer types where TM9SF3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
