Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TM9SF1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TM9SF1 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher TM9SF1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TM9SF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
GBM are the cancer types where TM9SF1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
