Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TM4SF1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TM4SF1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher TM4SF1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TM4SF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
GBM and PDAC are the cancer types where TM4SF1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
