Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TM2D3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TM2D3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher TM2D3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TM2D3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD, CESC, and BRCA are the cancer types where TM2D3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
